WORLD CLEAN UP DAY
World Cleanup Day, which started in Estonia, is the largest global citizen initiative in history. During the campaign, people from almost 180 countries clean up their home beaches, forests and roads from garbage. Since 2019, in Estonia, attention has been paid primarily to small garbage, including small plastic and cigarette butts. At the same time, the heart of Estonian cleaning is the involvement of the younger generation and raising general awareness.
